Located 8km away by dirt road from the historical village of Alcáçovas known for its Chocalheira art, in a property of 280 acres, you will find the country house Monte da Burquilheira in a peaceful Alentejo countryside with a 360° view of the natural beauty of Alentejo.

Monte da Burquilheira was restored preserving the traditional characteristics of a Alentejo hill. It has two suites and a living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens onto a porch overlooking a unique sunset. The house is decorated with traditional tiled floors baked in a traditional oven.

The day starts with a breakfast delivered to your porch that includes Alentejo bread, fresh juice and all the necessary ingredients for a traditional breakfast made from local products.

With no Wi-Fi or television, during the day you can pick olives or trim the olive trees, meet the cows (see if any new calves have been born, give them water and food), fishing, horse riding and cycling, or simply read that book you never have time for by the pool.
