Monte da Azarujinha is a small rural tourism unit, inserted in an environmentally friendly property of 140 hectares, which resulted from the refurbishment of an old centenary agricultural house and the construction of a new building, which houses six bedrooms in suite, with a design designed by Aboim Inglez Arquitectos. We also have a swimming pool of generous dimensions, with water treatment based on salt electrolysis, and a small garden and porches.

The work was completed in December 2014, fulfilling a dream of the current owners Almerinda and Carlos Duarte.

Then, the reactivation of agricultural activity began, with the reforestation of 30 hectares of stone pine and the establishment of pastures for cattle and sheep.

In summary, we can say that “our mission is to provide those who visit us with the experience of life in the countryside, in a familiar, peaceful and welcoming environment, and in close contact with nature”.
