Visits to Lagar do Marmelo are accompanied by a guide who explains all stages of production of its oils, from the olive tree to the table. At the end there is an olive oil tasting, where you can explore your senses, discover aromas and learn how to adapt them to different dishes. We recently implemented some experiences and exhibitions on our visit in order to make the sharing of knowledge and education about our products increasingly dynamic, sensorial and interactive.
Visits are available for all types of audiences, from tourists, schools, entities, associations, among others.
Lagar do Marmelo, located in Ferreira do Alentejo next to Herdade do Marmelo, designed by the Portuguese architect Ricardo Bak Gordon, honors the Portuguese olive grove and represents the highest exponent of technology at the service of olive oil quality and environmental sustainability. It is a milestone of modernity in the country and one of the biggest investments of the last 20 years in Portuguese agriculture.
