Guided Tour to the Rice Museum

The facilities are located in an old rice husking factory, dating back to 1952, the date when husking began in Comporta. This building also has facilities for a restaurant, with a long tradition in the region and called «Rice Museum», with all the skills required in the field of catering.
In addition to this factory, there were several workshops, with a collection of metalworking and carpentry instruments, and a steel-technical forger’s workshop, directly or indirectly related to rice cultivation.
