By boat on the immense lake, winding along the river, crossing islands, nooks and crannies, we realize the dimension of Alqueva: as the boat sails, we will talk about the old and current Guadiana, the old and new ways of occupying it and much more. We regain our strength with a truly Alentejo snack with cheeses, cracklings, olives, biscuits, bread and wine. In the summer, we can take a dive in the refreshing waters. Back on land, we still have time to visit the Alqueva Interpretation Centre and learn about all the effects of this project on the territory in the past, present and future.
